XGN-12 series solid fully insulated closed ring-network switchgear is a fully insulated, fully sealed, maintenance-free solid insulated vacuum switchgear. High-voltage live parts are cast and molded with epoxy resin material with excellent insulation performance. The vacuum arc extinguishing chamber, main electrical circuit, insulation support, etc. are organically combined as a whole. The functional units are connected through fully insulated solid busbar. Therefore, the whole switchgear is not affected by the external environment, which can ensure the reliability of equipment operation and the safety of operators.

The ring-network cabinet has the characteristics of simple structure, flexible operation, reliable interlocking and convenient installation. It is applicable to 50Hz, 12kV power systems, and is widely used in industrial and civil cable ring-network and distribution network terminal projects, as well as for the acceptance and distribution of electric energy. Vacuum arc extinguishing chamber

Vacuum circuit breaker has the ability to break short circuit current and is used for overload and short circuit protection of circuit and electrical equipment. Because of its small contact opening distance, short arcing time, slight burn when the contact breaks the fault current, small operating energy required, fast action and other characteristics, it also has the advantages of small size, light weight, small maintenance workload, fire prevention, explosion prevention, and low operating noise. It is an ideal circuit breaker to replace oil circuit breaker and SF6 circuit breaker, and is widely used in high-frequency heating and other distribution systems in power, metallurgy, communications and other industries. Vacuum interrupter for circuit breaker is the key component of vacuum circuit breaker and the heart of vacuum circuit breaker. It basically determines the main performance of circuit breaker.

Solid insulation system

The solid sealing pole formed by APG process encapsulates the current-carrying conductors such as vacuum interrupter and upper and lower outlet sockets into a whole. The disconnector is installed in the cavity of the solid-sealed pole, making the interphase insulation mainly solid insulation. Single-phase insulation bus design can avoid serious faults such as interphase and ground. The bus can be expanded to realize unlimited expansion of functional units.

Three-position switch

The switch cabinet is equipped with three-position knife switch. The three-position switch and the main switch are built in the fixed pole. Three-phase linkage can be operated to realize three positions of working/isolation/grounding. The mechanical interlocking with the main switch is adopted. The three-position switch can only operate when the main switch is in the opening position. In addition, the three-position mechanism can also realize interlocking with the grounding position. When the switch is in the working position, the grounding side hole is locked; When the knife switch is in the grounding position, the working side hole is locked.

Operating mechanism

The operating mechanism of the circuit breaker is a spring operating mechanism, which has the characteristics of simple structure, reliable action, compact size, and maintenance-free. The closing power can be adjusted up and down according to the user's requirements. The mechanism can also be used for manual energy storage, manual closing, and manual opening, as well as electric energy storage and electric opening and closing to facilitate user operation.

Three-position knife switch operating mechanism adopts the design of passing spring, which can quickly open and close, and has the function of breaking and closing a certain load current. In addition to manual operation, the three-position mechanism can also carry out electric operation, which can realize intelligent remote control isolation and grounding, greatly facilitating the use of users.

Structural characteristics of solid insulation ring-network cabinet

Solid insulated ring-network cabinet is a small GIS switchgear with the following structure:

A. The high-voltage load switch and high-voltage live parts are sealed in the epoxy plastic insulation sleeve shell without any gas. The vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is small and reliable. The load switch is equipped with a grounding switch, which has three positions of closing, opening and grounding. The grounding switch also has the function of disconnector.

B. It can accommodate 1-5 load switch units or 1-5 circuit breaker units. Each unit is led out through three high-voltage bushings, and the cable connection is convenient.

C. The made sealing box is adopted, and strict sealing measures are taken at the connection of the operating mechanism and the high-voltage bushing, with good performance.

D. High voltage bushing and high voltage insulation cylinder made of epoxy resin by APG process are used. The insulation cylinder and high voltage bushing are tightly assembled by silicone rubber sleeve, which has good sealing effect.

E. Each circuit is equipped with independent operating mechanism, which is installed on the front of the cabinet and has multiple mechanical interlocking functions.

F. The load switch and grounding switch are equipped with spring operating mechanism. The load switch can be operated manually or electrically. The grounding switch not only plays the role of grounding, but also plays the role of isolation. It can only be operated manually.

G. The circuit breaker is equipped with a permanent magnetic operating mechanism, which can be opened and closed electrically and manually, but not manually. The circuit breaker can also be equipped with spring mechanism, which can be manual or electric

B. The solid insulation material is epoxy plastic resin, with a thickness of not less than 10mm. It has strong corrosion resistance and high insulation capacity. C. There are no fasteners on the surface of the box for disassembly, and the anti-theft property is good. The box has IP33 protection grade and good rain-proof performance.

D. The top cover is equipped with a vent, the air inlet is at the lower part of the box, and there is a dust-proof filter screen. The air outlet is located at the top of the box, and is hidden under the eaves to form a bottom-up air convection, so that the box has a good heat insulation and ventilation effect. The top cover is equipped with a drainage angle of a certain angle.

E. The box has a sealed floor with cable inlet to prevent moisture in the cable trench from entering the box.

F. The door is sealed with sealing strip, and the door lock is rain-proof structure. When the door is opened, the limit pull rod makes the door easy to fix.

G. The switch in the box is of solid insulation fully sealed structure, without heater. The cable head can be divided into touchable and non-touchable types according to user requirements, and is not afraid of immersion.

Operating mechanism and operation

A. Each load switch and grounding switch in the ring network unit is equipped with mutually independent spring operating mechanism, which is installed on the front panel of the cabinet and can be operated manually or electrically. Each circuit on the panel has two operation holes to operate the load switch and grounding switch respectively. The vacuum circuit breaker is equipped with integrated permanent magnetic operating mechanism and spring operating mechanism.

B. Operating instructions of load switch

Power transmission operation

Close the isolating grounding switch first: insert the operating handle into the grounding operation hole (when the disconnector is in the grounding closing state), rotate it counterclockwise to open the grounding, and then insert the operating handle into the isolating operation hole, rotate it counterclockwise to close the disconnector.

Re-closing the load switch: insert the operating handle into the operating hole of the main switch, turn it counterclockwise for about 2 turns, and the main switch will be closed.

Power failure operation

A. Switch off the load first: turn the opening knob counterclockwise to open the switch.

B. Re-divide the isolating and grounding switch: insert the operating handle into the operating hole of the isolating mechanism, rotate clockwise, separate the isolating knife, insert the operating handle into the grounding operating hole, rotate clockwise, and close the grounding.

C. Circuit breaker operating instructions

D. Mechanical interlocking: there is mechanical interlocking between load switch, circuit breaker and grounding switch. When the load switch and circuit breaker are closed, the grounding switch cannot be opened or closed; The grounding switch is in the closed state, and the load switch and circuit breaker cannot be opened or closed.

E. Installation and replacement of fuse

(1) Close the grounding switch first.

(2) Lift up the operating handle and rotate it counterclockwise to make the pin out of the slot.

(3) Install the striker mechanism into the fuse barrel, make the pin in the slot, rotate clockwise, make the operating handle parallel to the panel, and then press the handle with force.

(4) It can only be opened when the load switch is grounded.

Transportation and storage

◆ The packaged ring-network unit can be transported by electric forklift or crane. The ring-network unit is equipped with lifting rings for lifting during transportation. The rope used for hoisting shall not be shorter than 2m.

◆ The ring-network unit shall be placed in a dry, ventilated and dust-free place before installation at the use site. If covered with plastic bags, the bottom should be open and ventilated.

Use and maintenance

A. Inspection before use: before using the ring network unit, the following inspections must be carried out for personal and equipment safety

◆ Check whether the main circuit and grounding circuit are connected correctly.

◆ Check whether the mechanical interlocking is correct and reliable.

◆ Check whether the operation of load switch and grounding switch in the ring network unit is flexible and correct.

◆ Check whether the high-voltage cable is connected correctly and reliably.

B. Operation

◆ Put the ring network unit into operation according to the specified operation sequence.

C. Maintenance: This equipment is based on the following advantages, and does not need routine maintenance

◆ The live parts are installed in the epoxy plastic insulation cylinder.

◆ The operating mechanism components placed outside the epoxy plastic insulation cylinder have been electroplated.
